How to import bookings from email

Stop copy-pasting confirmation numbers into Notes. Forward emails to TripMate and AI adds them to your trip timeline.

Before you start

Install TripMate AI on iPhone and create an account
Create or open the trip you want to add bookings to
Use the same email address you registered with TripMate

Step 1: Forward the confirmation

Open your flight, hotel or activity confirmation in Mail. Forward it to your TripMate booking address (shown in the app dashboard). Only forward from your registered email for security.

Step 2: Wait for AI processing

TripMate reads the email and extracts dates, times, locations and reference numbers. Processing usually takes under a minute and uses one AI credit.

Step 3: Check your timeline

Open the trip timeline and map. The booking should appear on the correct day. If something looks wrong, edit it in the app or paste the email text manually on the web dashboard.

Tips for better results

Forward the original confirmation, not a screenshot
Include the full email body (don’t trim attachments if the PDF has details)
One booking per email works best for complex trips
